Curriculum (summary)

1955 Born and grown up in Bern, Switzerland. Various professional  education and trainings completed by diplomas. Regular drawing and painting next to working and studying. In 1985 she migrates to Sydney, Australia, where she successfully applies for a full time course at the National Art School, Sydney. In 1989 she receives the Higher Certificate of Art (equivalent BFA) and is also selected for "Works of special mention" of the Sir William Dobell Art Foundation at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney. Following the study, she  travels for over one year in Australia and returns to Switzerland over South East Asia, Nepal and India.

Since 1991 she lives and works in Bern. Her journeys to Venezuela, Maroc, Gambia, Senegal, Egypt, Syria and every so often to India are influencing her concept of her working and living process. Next to her own art projects she is leading courses and workshops at her studio and elsewhere.

Kurzlebenslauf

Geboren 1955 in Bern. Erlernen verschiedenster Berufe mit Diplomabschlüssen. Zeichnen und Malen gehört immer dazu. 1985 Auswanderung nach Australien, Sydney. Erfolgreiche Bewerbung um einen Vollzeit Studienplatz an der National Art School in Sydney. 1989 Abschluss "Higher Certificate of Art" (heute BFA). Ausgewählt für "Works of special mention" of the Sir William Dobell Art Foundation der Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney. Nach dem Studium reist sie über ein Jahr in Australien und kehrt  zurück in die Schweiz via Südostasien, Nepal und Indien.

Seit 1991 lebt und arbeitet sie in Bern Ihre Reisen nach Venezuela, Marokko, Gambia, Senegal, Ägypten, Syrien und wiederholt auch Indien beeinflussen ihren Arbeits- und Lebensprozess. Neben ihren eigenen Kunstprojekten leitet sie Kurse und Workshops im eigenen Atelier und auswärts.
